What is Riff?
Riff is a news app for iPhone. It brings your sources into one mix, one story per screen: one glance, then you read or you swipe.
How much does Riff cost?
The first 20 cards are on us. Then a 14-day trial, then a monthly or yearly subscription, handled by Apple. The App Store shows the price for your country.
Does Riff use AI?
Yes, on your iPhone: Apple Intelligence writes the AI summary when you ask for it, and For You compares the stories you read to find what you like.
Do I need an account?
No: there’s no Riff account, no email, no password. Riff has no server, and we never see what you read.
Is Riff an RSS reader?
Riff reads RSS feeds, but your stories arrive one per screen, in a mix where topics take turns. And over 1,000 sources are ready for you.
Which iPhones does Riff run on?
Any iPhone with iOS 26 or later, iPhone Duo included. The AI summary needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on.
Is Riff on Android, iPad or Mac?
For now, Riff is on iPhone. Versions for iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro are being considered. There are no plans for Android.
