Terms of use

Last updated: October 18, 2026

By using Riff you accept these terms. They are short on purpose.

Who we are

The person responsible for Riff is Arnaud Lewis. Contact: contact@riff.watch.

The service

Riff is a reader for public RSS and Atom feeds on iPhone. It is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. Feeds can change or disappear; Riff is not responsible for what publishers post in them.

Subscription

Riff is used with a subscription: 2.99 EUR a month or 19.99 EUR a year (prices in France; they may differ by country). It starts with a 14-day free trial that you start yourself in the app. The subscription is sold and billed by Apple: at the end of the trial the chosen plan is charged to your Apple Account, then it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under Subscriptions. Riff does not receive your payment details. Without an active subscription the app is locked, but your data stays on your iPhone and you can still export or erase it from the subscription screen (“My data”).

Your data

Riff has no account. Your data stays on your iPhone and, if sync is turned on, in your iCloud storage. In Settings → General, you can export your settings, your Playlists and the sources you added yourself, or erase your data.

Content

Articles and feeds belong to their authors and publishers. Riff shows titles, excerpts, summaries and links, and can read the page of an article for you to present it in a reading format or read it aloud, on your iPhone and for your personal use. Riff republishes nothing and sends you to the source. If you are a publisher and want your feed removed from the catalogue, write to the contact above.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Riff is not liable for indirect damages or loss of data. The AI summary is written by Apple Intelligence on your iPhone: it can contain errors or omissions and does not replace reading the article. Export your backup regularly (Settings → General → Backup). Nothing here limits your consumer rights.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will say so in the app. They are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
